报告人简介：

Peter Hilsenrath，男， 1985年在德克萨斯大学奥斯汀分校获得经济学博士学位。现任美国加州太平洋大学健康管理中心主任、经济学教授。长期从事健康经济学、健康保险专题等课程的教学，主要研究方向为健康金融、健康管理、健康理财、国际保健等。近30余年来，先后在加州大学、德克萨斯大学、威特沃特斯兰德大学、爱荷华州大学、太平洋大学开展教学与研究工作。发表论文和报告50余篇，受到国际同行的高度肯定。

Peter Hilsenrath is Joseph M. Long Chair of Healthcare Management and Professor of Economics. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Austin. He was Professor and Department Chair of Health Management and Policy at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth prior to joining Pacific in 2009.

Peter teaches MBA and pharmacy courses about finance, management and economics in the health sector. He has also taught courses in international health systems, health insurance, economic theory. He earned an outstanding teacher award at the University of North Texas Health Science Center.

Peter's research is wide-ranging. He has published over 50 peer-reviewed articles and reports. They include publications in medical, management and economics journals such as the American Journal of Roentgenology, the American Journal of Clinical Pathology, Archives of Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, Health Care Management Review, the American Journal of Public Health, the Journal of Rural Health, the Journal of Health Care Finance, and Peace Economics, Peace Science and Public Policy. He currently serves on the Editorial Board for the Journal of Health Administration Education.
